Welcome to the Govan High School Website
It gives me the greatest pleasure to welcome you to the Govan High School website. The school has a proud history and as we embark on our second century, it is terrific that we can have a website that reflects all these years of success. This site will be a way for people to keep in touch with what is going on in the school to-day, find information about how the school works and observe the realisation of the big dreams that we have for the school.
It is also the place where our archives are stored electronically and where people can go to find out about our past – or even to see themselves again in their schooldays – whenever they may have been.
We are pleased to welcome all visitors to the site, but particularly if you are a Govanite and a Former Pupil or part of to-day’s school community. I hope that you enjoy visiting the site and tell others about it. In this way the school website will build as the days, months and years go on and will become part of the social history of Govan.
